Following on from the success of 2014 Muslims In Need will continue to send 40ft containers filled with humanitarian and medical aid to the most needy in Syria. This is the most practical and efficient method of sending large scale donations in a cost effective way.
Food is the highest priority
Tinned items such as: Tomatoes, Potatoes, Chickpeas, Tuna, Vegetables, Kidney beans, Baked Beans, Fruit, Rice Pudding, Soups
– Any other types of tinned food and tin openers.
Dry foods such as: Flour, Rice, Bugler wheat Lentils, Pasta, Nuts, Cereal, Spaghetti, Spices, Sugar, Salt, Porridge, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Crisps, Sweets, Dry baby milk, Baby food.
Liquids such as: Cooking oils, Long life milk, water, Bottled drinks, Honey,
– Any other high energy foods.

Home ware items such as: Blankets, Duvets, Pillows, Sleeping bags, Mattresses, Tents, Rugs, Curtains, Pots and Pans.
Baby Essentials: Prams, Baby clothes, Nappies, Wipes, Feeding Bottles, Dummies, Toiletries such as Sudocrème.
Toiletries: Tooth brush and toothpaste, Soaps, Shampoos, Sanitary products, Hot water bottles and Nail cutters.
Other items: Sewing Machines, Knitting sets and wool, Loose Fabrics and Stationery for schools.

All types of medicine: Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Aspirin, C0-codamol, Blood pressure medicine and monitors, Diabetes medicine and monitors, Cholesterol medication, Asthma inhalers, Arthritis medicine, Calpol,
– All types of adult and baby medicine which must have a minimum of 6 months of expiry.
*Please note we do not accept any controlled drugs, all medicines will be checked and anything which is not suitable will be handed to Pharmacy collection point.*
Clothes: Jilbabs, Abayahs, Niqaabs, Underwear, Jackets, Jumpers/Cardigans, Menswear, Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Socks, Shoes, Boots and Wellies.
– All clothes must be good condition and wearable. We request that clothes donations are separated into the following categories: Men’s, Women’s and Children. This will allow us to save valuable time rather than filtering through hundreds of bags of aid we receive.
*Any items of clothing which we believe are not suitable will be sold, this additional money is allocated to the charities administration account.*
We operate with 100% donation policy so every penny you donate will go to the people of Syria.
