Feed a Family This Ramadan

"The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: 'He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbour goes hungry.'"
(Bukhari)

As you prepare for Iftar, imagine having nothing to break your fast with—no dates, no warm meal, just hunger. For millions of families, this is their reality. But YOU can change that.

Right now, across Gaza, Syria, and Yemen, mothers are skipping meals so their children can eat. That’s where your precious Zakat and Sadaqah can make a big difference. Your donations ensure they have the energy to fast and perform the extra worship and good deeds we all strive to do during Ramadan.

For just £30, you can put food on a struggling family’s table this Ramadan. Will you help?

Escalating Food Poverty
During Ramadan

Ramadan is traditionally a time for families to gather for Suhoor and Iftar meals. But, in many countries, food prices soar by 50-100% during Ramadan. For struggling families, this means choosing between feeding their children or going without food themselves.

Too many families simply do not have enough to sustain themselves, leading to malnutrition, especially among children.

Malnutrition is not just hunger—it means stunted growth, weakened immunity, and children too weak to play, learn, or even fast. It also affects adults’ health and their capacity to work; as well as the vulnerable – those who are ill, afflicted with chronic conditions and the elderly.

A Food Pack Saved Amina’s Children from Starving

In Gaza, Nour holds a food pack, a vital lifeline for her family. With the conflict and destruction of infrastructure, finding enough to eat has become a daily struggle. Very little is available and prices are exorbitant. Nour’s mother, Amina, often went without food to ensure her children had meals. “Some nights, I prayed my children wouldn’t wake up hungry,” she recalls, tears in her eyes.

Thanks to your generosity, the family received essential items, allowing them to enjoy warm meals together. “Now, my brothers and I can eat together,” Nour giggles, her smile reflecting gratitude and hope.

Your £30 donation can provide a food pack to another struggling family like Nour’s
